The basics

How long until my order ships?

2–5 business days for production, then 3–5 business days for US shipping. Total: usually 5–10 business days from when you click buy. Tracking is emailed when it ships.

Where is this printed?

In the US, by our fulfillment partner in Charlotte, NC. We don't use overseas drop-shippers.

Will the print fade?

Tees and hoodies are direct-to-garment printed — soft hand, no plastisol coating, no peel-and-crack. Mugs are dye-sublimated, which means the design is fused into the ceramic glaze, not painted on. Both outlast normal wear and survive the dishwasher and washing machine respectively.

Why is it made-to-order?

Each item is printed when you order it — no warehouse, no overstock, no waste. Trade-off: it takes 5–10 days instead of 2. Upside: every print is fresh, you're not buying something that sat in a warehouse for a year.

Returns and refunds

What's your return policy?

30 days from delivery — full refund or replacement, your choice. We cover return shipping. Email thirdshiftpress@gmail.com with your order number.

What if it arrives damaged or defective?

We'll reprint and reship for free — no return required. Email a photo within 14 days of delivery to thirdshiftpress@gmail.com and we'll start a new production order the same day.

What if I ordered the wrong size?

Send it back within 30 days for a full refund or a free exchange. Items must be unworn and unwashed. We pay return shipping for sizing exchanges.

How long does a refund take?

Once we get the return at the warehouse, refunds post to your card within 3–5 business days.

Sizing and fit

Do tees run true to size?

Yes. They're unisex fit on a mid-weight 4.2oz cotton jersey, side-seamed, slightly relaxed through the body. If you're between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit, or down for a fitted look.

Do hoodies run true to size?

Yes — unisex fit on a mid-weight 8oz cotton-poly blend, double-lined hood, front kangaroo pocket, ribbed cuffs and hem. Roomier than the tee. If you wear a Carhartt active jacket size, that's your hoodie size.

What size are the totes?

15″ x 16″ with 11.8″ handles. Big enough for groceries, gym kit, or a 13″ laptop with a notebook. Natural cotton canvas, reinforced bottom stitching.

What size are the mugs?

11oz / 325ml. Standard coffee mug, fits any cup holder. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

What size are the stickers?

4-inch kiss-cut vinyl, weatherproof, removable adhesive. Holds up on toolboxes, hard hats, hard cases, laptops.

Care instructions

How should I wash apparel?

Inside-out, cold water, low or no heat in the dryer. The print will outlast the shirt.

Are mugs dishwasher safe?

Yes. Top rack recommended but not required. Microwave safe too. Don't bake them — they're not oven-safe.

How long do stickers last outdoors?

3+ years in direct sun without fading or peeling, longer in cooler conditions.

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — most countries. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Add 5–14 business days for customs.

Is shipping really free?

Free US shipping on orders over $70. Otherwise it's calculated at checkout — usually $4–6 for one item.

Can I get expedited shipping?

Yes — choose UPS 2-Day or USPS Priority Express at checkout. Production timeline (2–5 days) is the same; expedited only speeds up the shipping leg.

How do I track my order?

You'll get a tracking number by email when the package leaves our partner's warehouse. Update lag is normal for the first 24 hours.

Orders and payment

Can I cancel or change an order?

Email thirdshiftpress@gmail.com within 2 hours of placing the order. Once production starts we can't cancel — but if it's a sizing or address mistake, we'll work with you.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal.

Is my payment info safe?

Yes. Payments are processed by Shopify's PCI Level 1 infrastructure — we never see your card number.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk for shop floors / crews / unions?

Yes. For 10+ units of the same design, email thirdshiftpress@gmail.com with what you need and we'll build a quote. Custom design tweaks are negotiable for orders of 25+.

Do you take custom design requests?

For shop-specific designs (a piece for your crew, your shop, your union local), email us. For one-off personal customs we don't currently offer it — but tell us what you'd want and we may build it into the next catalog release.

Where can I see new designs as they drop?

Sign up for the email list (popup on the homepage; 15% off your first order). New niches added monthly — current rotation: machinist, electrician, welder, mechanical engineer, software developer, plumber/pipefitter, HVAC technician, diesel tech, framer carpenter.

Who runs ThirdShiftPress?

We're a small operation under Print3DFlow LLC, based in Charlotte NC. The catalog is built around quiet workwear humor — no rainbow gradients, no clip-art tools, no "best dad ever" hype. Designs are made by people who'd actually wear them.
